 Here are a few highlights of the upcoming program:

Learning Objectives for the WATA 2018 Annual Meeting:

Participants will be able to appraise and apply current evidence in order to:

  1. Analyze the efficacy of emerging and traditional therapeutic interventions in athletic training and develop appropriate interventions for patient-centered outcomes.
  2. Apply current best practices in the evaluation of pediatric injuries.
  3. Select and implement strategies to prevent injuries through effective functional evaluations and evidence-based strategies.
  4. Evaluate the importance of mindfulness and culturally competent care in the practice of athletic training.
 

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellation and Refund Policy: If a pre‐registrant cannot attend the symposium for any reason, they may notify the WATA in advance by sending an e‐mail to rhonda.verdegan@cuw.edu and will receive a full refund if notification is on or before March 29th, 2018. After March 29th, refunds will be made minus a $50.00 fee. No refunds will be issued after April 1st, 2018.
