Young Professionals Committee

Vision Statement
WATA strives to be the voice for athletic trainers in Wisconsin. Furthermore, the WATA Young  Professionals Committee (WATA-YPC) is devoted to increasing volunteer enrollment, retention, and involvement of young athletic training professionals. Commitment of young professionals in athletic training is vital and achieved through professional development activities and increased educational involvement. It is the goal of the WATA-YPC to expand these opportunities.

The mission of the WATA-YPC is to recognize and address the needs of young athletic training professionals, facilitate socialization between professionals, and improve the community of athletic trainers in the state of Wisconsin. Through these efforts, the athletic training profession will continue to advance.

Purpose and Charge
To be the voice and support of young professional athletic trainers in the state of Wisconsin, and to advance the profession of Athletic Training.
