The 2013 WATA Annual Meeting & Symposium will be hosted at Chula Vista Resort in Wisconsin Dells, WI on April 11 - 13, 2013.
Featuring Jeff Oliphant Keynote Speakers: Justin & Glenda Greenwood
Doing what he loved best, playing football, is how Justin acquired his brain injury. On September 27, 2003, while playing football for the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, Justin was critically injured after coming in contact with another player. Justin’s enthusiasm for life is evident every time he and his mother, Glenda, share their story with others. Justin and Glenda have sought opportunities to reach out to others and educate them about the effects of living with a brain injury, and both have a passion to educate coaches, athletes, and parents about the seriousness of concussion in sports. Justin is delighted to share his story with others and bring encouragement to them, and Glenda welcomes the opportunity to share her story of love, persistence and perseverance and how these attitudes can accomplish so much.

Attention WATA Symposium Registrants using PayPal:
There have been some issues with registrants submitting multiple registration forms through PayPal. Please register ONLY ONCE! You should receive 2 separate confirmations - one for registering for the conference and one from PayPal that your payment has been received. If you do not receive a payment confirmation from PayPal - please DO NOT register again! This is causing confusion and duplication for the organizing committee. They are reconciling registrations on a weekly basis and you will be contacted by a committee member if your payment doesn't go through. WATA Annual Meeting Mail-In Registration
No individual hotel rooms are available at Chula Vista. Condos are available on site with the special rate of $219 per night (just mention WATA). These two bedroom condos fit four to eight people. If you would like to stay off-site, just call Chula Vista and mention WATA and they will assist you in finding the most reasonable rate at a different hotel. 855-388-4782.
