The 2012 Wisconsin Lower Extremity and Workshops will be held in La Crosse on March 23-24. Up to eleven CEUs are available. More details are available at www.uwlax.edu/conted/extremity. Four hours of hands-on workshops will be offered.
The WATA in conjuntion with the Wisconsin EMS Association has issued a press release dealing with the Pre-Hospital Care of the Cervical Spine-Injured Athelte. The release contains links to video demonstrations as well as the NATA Position Statement.
WEA offers a pre-authorization portal for rehabilitation services delivered by athletic trainers and other providers. It requires a password and login ID that needs to be obtained through WEA directly. Click on the story title for more info and to register.

The 2011 WATA Fall Symposium will be held November 5th, in Onalaska, WI. The course titled "Core Concepts for the Hip and Spine," is a lecture and hands-on symposium for athletic trainers and health professionals designed to present current concepts in protein-rich plasma treatments, the evaluation, treatment and manual therapies of the hip and sacroiliac joint. The 2011 WATA Fall Symposium is titled Core Concepts for the Hip and Spine. The continuing education event will be held at the Stoney Creek Inn in Onalaska, WI on Saturday, November 5, 2001.
