Come join your fellow athletic trainers for a day of fun, fellowship and challenging golf. Golfweek ranks Lawsonia as one of the top classic courses in the country and the Lawsonia Links course as the #3 "Best course you can play" in Wisconsin. You will certainly not be disappointed in all our event has to offer.

2009 Golf Outing Summary

On July 31st, 2009, 64 golfers welcomed the arrival of summer at the 13th annual WATA Scholarship Golf Outing. Foxfire golf club in Waupaca provided a fun, challenging course that tested the skills of better golfers while playing fairly to those of lesser abilities. The outing was a foursome scramble and played host to many WATA members and friends of the WATA. All proceeds from the annual golf outing are earmarked for the WATA Scholarship Fund.

The scramble was divided into Championship and Co-Ed teams. Placing first in the Championship flight with a score of 13 under par was the team of Larry Lemberger (Lifetec Inc), Charlie Lemberger, Steve Coenen and JohnMcCulley. The Co-Ed flight title was claimed by the team of Heidi Gutschow, Jeff Gutschow, Lori Neilitz and Don Huggins. Congratulations to this years winning groups!

Cancellation Policy: Registrants may cancel their registration by e-mail the request to registrations@watainc.org and receive a full refund if the request is submitted by July 29th, 2009. No refunds will not be made for cancellations on the day of the event or following.

The event will be held rain or shine. If severe weather renders the course unplayable Foxfire reserves the right to determine rain delay, refund and/or rain check policy as circumstances dictate on the day of the event.
